I've used Xolox to download all different kinds of files. and although i agree that it is excellent at mp3's and audio files, I havent had any problems with video files either.

Yup I've tried all the tricks with download speed. I just don't get a lot of the mp3's I select. It just sits for an eternity at searching or connecting so I don't know exactly what is going on in reality. I have better luck with Kazaa Lite.

It must be the files we are searching for. That's all I can figure.

ME too! I believe this is exactly the point, that and the files available on the network are never constant. only people leaving there machines connected and running a p2p program would bring widespread stability to the network :P oh well, we can all dream....
