Xolox inbound on Port 0? I've used Xolox now for some time and really like it - but since I started letting my computer run round the clock I also restartet using my trusty ol' AtGuard Minifirewall. Obviously I opened up the standard Gnutella Ports for Xolox, but today I received some strange incoming request on Port 0. I'm not quite sure why or who would try to connect to a Gnutella Client on Port 0. Admitted, I'm not an expert on Gnutella Protocols, but isn't that odd? Or is there a good reason for these strange requests? |
Which protocoll? PS: Yes I like to ask questions. :) I ask because I assume your tiny packtfilter reports a portless protocoll like ICMP. There is no port 0 with TCP, which Gnutella uses. |
