Xolox Dead?
 

Is xolox dead? Or is there a problem with the network, the last few days i almost do not receive any download?

When i select a file and i disconnect the next time i can find the file but in my transfer list the file is not found (busy 0..........)!? Anyone know a how this is possible?

But i still like Xolox!

After the last update the downloaded files are less. Maybe there is a problem with the network or with the program? Why is there not an update or some update info!?

Maybe the developers are to busy? Or they are finished with this project?

It must be dead........ no response so far.....................

i like it more than loxol
even that i can find files in loxol that are not in kazaa, those files arent downloading

:) morpheus is the same as kazaa, but without the spyware........

The only bug I have found to be annoying is the access violation error whenever I try to exit, other than that it has been running flawlessly for me for weeks now.

Thge only thing I've ever gotten from Kazza is bugs. You can have it.

I was refering to Xolox, not the others.

XoloX works ... atleast with porn it does ... :D

But obviously when you search, and if the file only has 1 person of course it won't download ASAP, since .. duh .. only 1 person that ISN'T online has it ..

As for morpheus/Kazaa .. it's the same thing, just different colors and name .. it has spyware, how can it not? Fastrack is used by BOTH KAZAA AND MORPHEUS. I don't understand how people can say it's the same, but without the spyware, if it's basically the same ... apparently it may have the same things included ... Basically everything but XoloX and WinMX has spyware.

Ever heard of Ad-aware? Run it. Delete the spyware. Connect to Morpheus. Stay on for a few minutes. Close Morpheus. Run Ad-aware. What do you find?

In my opinion people should be more worried about viruses then spyware.


Also, anyone that's been to the Grokster site, does it really contain a virus and tries to download to you?

i run ad-aware but there's nothing in my morpheus wich runs 24/7, i have no spyware, it always says "congratulations no known spyware detected" so i don't know how u get that idea, AgentxIS ?

as for the difference, kazaa, grokster and morpheus use the same dbase so i find it the same with different skin.

but i think XoloX will be better when more people stay connected.

I was using Xolox for a long time but right now i am Using eDonkey because I was getting sick of the fact that Xolox did not complete a file for the last 100 years. My temp dir is growing but not my complete dir! So i installed eDonkey and i am completed 10 movies in 1 week. And running eDonkey allows me to use my internet better, Xolox is using all the speed for searches...... I understand why (no server bla bla bla) but it still sucks!
