Default No uploads any more???

I was just wondering, if you too had this experience:

usually, when using XoloX I had about 3 people downloading from my Computer. Since Dec. 1st there has not been one single download indicated within XoloX. Nevertheless it seems like there are donwloads that are just not displayed, since I have about 24Megs of upload per hour. And I do not have a trojan or something, I've checked that.

I'm using XoloX 1.12 and have blocked its access to xolox.nl

What about you?
Does anybody see people downloading from his or her computer?

B.

Default Same here

I rarely see uploads, although when using bearshare and limewire I was uploading all the time.
How do you see how much you have uploaded in total, say the last day?

I have the same experience.
Using KaZaa: Lots of uploads.
Using Xolox: Only uploads once in a while.

Default any one know what this is??

i too get few uploads although i have no problem with d/l. i have noticed however that i often get an upload that is at 0kbps, it has no name and it's picture is the same as the 44Khz etc ones. i think that they might be search queries for what i'm sharing but i'm not sure - anyone know?

Hmm,

I test actually a new client...

I have search results from Xolox clients but all of them have no bandwidth left ( 0 k)... I wonder why?

I have some good news too! The next week will be a new client will be released (if nothing changes!)... you can compare it with Xolox!

Without spyware and only about 300k of size (Windows only!)...

I will inform you where you can download it!

The exact date... I don´t know it, the developer said the client is finished until the weekend but there are still a few bugs...
but I will inform you about this too!

Features:

- multi-segment download, of course
- auto-research
- auto-resume
- metadata
- an IRC chat
etc.

Add some features to Xolox and you can imagine how it is!

The release will be only a beta release! So if you are a newby... take care!

My Xolox is uploading all the time. I am sharing some files I got from eDonkey and DC that weren’t previously on this network (I am still not seeing them shared by others). The only thing I do that might make a difference (other than the cross network sharing) is that I add IP addresses once or twice a week from www.gnufrog.com/ and the old public.bearshare.net (port 6436) address too. I don’t know how Xolox affects the hosts I have added when it says, “refurbishing buffered network connectionlists”, but when I see that message I add a few new hosts. I always have my maximum number of upload slots filled, and there are constant hits from people trying to get a slot.

I get so many hits to upload these episodes, that I am not sharing much else right now.
