 Read This! with thanks to Muscle34 I had to create a new thread to ensure that as many people read this as possible. Thanks to muscle34 for posting his realization that the download speed for sharing files on the "Preferences/Network" tab ranges from 1kb/s to 12 kb/s, but that there is a "max" setting at the top of the list, ABOVE 1kb/s instead of being placed at the bottom, after 12kb/s! I never noticed that either and have wasted valuable download time. I hope EVERYONE adjusts this setting (even modem users would benefit...and anyone else who wouldn't notice an elephant if it sat on them, such as myself)! Happy sharing!  |
