I have lost my gmail toolbar in Windows 8. It has always popped up until
very recently when I clicked on gmail in Firefox. Now i only get the word gmail but not the gmail toolbar which is made up of the following wording:Images, News, etc Thank you for your help. Joe |

Have you tried the view menu in FireFox? Under View -> Toolbars.
You might have accidentally typed a shortcut which hides it. I'm not sure what it is on Windows but it might be the equivalent of Control-slash (underneath the ? question mark key on my keyboard.) But that might just be the bottom toolbar. |

I don't use gmail, but maybe this will help.

It could maybe also be related to google setting MaxVersion in settings file. I don't update my Firefox anymore due to Google toolbar incompatability issues, but they started already in version 5 I believe, because of them having their own browser now. Workaround in Google toolbar is How to Enable Google Toolbar in Firefox 20 And Later maybe you are experiencing a similar issue where your Gmail toolbar refuses to load due to version limitations.
