Hello! This is my first post and I'm certainly nervous. I cannot understand why my limewire media player has no sound. Can someone please help me. I am about to pull my hair out. My system is Windows Vista Home Basic and the system uses Windows Media Player. I would prefer to be able to preview the downloads without having to transfer them to the media player in windows. Help! Thank you!

There are two things you can do.

Open the volume control in Windows and in the Options Menu choose properties
and turn on every control you can find in Playback. One of them was probably
muted or turned all the way down.

The other thing you could do is shut off the player in LimeWire by going to the
Player tab in LimeWire's Options.
