Hi Clan!
First post on here.Not sure.Hope it works.Big panic.Limewire user for 2 years.No problems.Windows 2000 Prof.All OK.Had vers 4.12.6.Downloaded vers 4.14.8 6 hrs ago.Called up LW after download;looks OK.Have shortcut to LW on desktop,tried to call up LW but it will not connect.Go to programs,try to connect but no go.Made no other changes;it just will not connect.Scared s/less.What to do??Pse HELP!!

Thanks Aaron;
Slowed down and explored further;all is well and LW finally opened for me;all is recovered.However,when I play back songs I get a lot of "skips" or "hiccups",is that just because I do not have much memory (14,660 MB) of which 8,500 MB is free space (57%).I think my computer is very slow,not very fancy,just an old tower,and I am retired and just as old and not very computer savvy!! Mountainman.

You could try reducing the amount of extra programs that start up with Windows too.
