In need of a little help!!!! (can't reinstall LW)
 

:rofl:Greetings to all! I am 1 hour old and am pretty new at this stuff.
I run a hp 2.6 GHz pc, 768 mb, windows XP home edition. I use to have LM installed on my pc but it uninstalled itself. Then, I tried to dwnld LW again to no avail.
I have tried some of the tips listed in FAQ but have had no success. I also uninstalled java then dwnlded the latest version. No affect. I have tried to delete LW but I get "access denied". When dwnld LW it cannot copy files, access denied. The LW programe does not show in add/remove programmes so I cannot remove it. When dwnld my pc says do I want to remove/replace existing files, I say yes, error occurs "access denied chk disc space ...
I am at my wits end.:bangh: I wld appreciate some help.

Are you logged on as an administrator? Try that if not.
Were you logged on as somebody else the first time you installed it?
Is your antivirus up to date?
How much disk space is left? Try turning off disk space quotas.

what you need to do is go to start /my computer / c-drive /progran files /limewire open limewire and you will see an uninstaller use that to uninstall then you can reinstall
