What happened to Limewire? I have used pro for years but lately when I do a search and start download everything goes fine then it loses the host even if there are many . So i restart and do another search and get all this crap in the 10 to 40 mb size that has nothing to do with the search criteria.what gives?

As you probably know, LW has a search horizon, and within that search horizon there's probably a number of spammers. This really depends on the ultrapeers you are connected to. Some people unluckily get connected directly to spammer ultrapeers & get very little decent search results.

This usually varies every few days or you get an especially bad week occasionally with searches.

I have a suspicion LW 5 does not hold onto its uploaders as well as LW 4 did. I have a suspicion it's some kind of bug with LW 5. Discussed this with a couple of other moderators here.

If you are losing hosts, re-do another search. And then choose the option, Find More Results by right-clicking the search tab.
