Having Trouble:Operating System is Windows XP Home. Using DSL Speed.

Problem: My Limewire basic will not connect to the internet.

The Fire Wall is off. What is the problem?:confused:

I presume you are using LW 5?

The problem might be your router. Which brand & model is it? :)

I have a 2Wire DSL wireless modem from SBC/AT&T.

My laptop is Dell D520. 4GB RAM.

Port forwarding is always more reliable than using UPnP. ;)

For LW 5, you will see equivalent settings here Manual port forward instructions & sample image. The example they gave is for LW 4.
