Windows media player
 

Hello - I'm quite new to limewire and i'm trying to preview a film i'm downloading but when I click on preview it keeps opening windows media player. How do i change this to another program I already have installed?

Need to change the default for that particular file type to open such files; Setting Default video app gives an example of how to do. :)
Basically, right-click that file, choose open with, select the program & check option to always open that specific file type with that particular program. ;)

Thanks for that - but I can't actually go to the file and change anything as it hasn't finished downloading yet??

go to any media file on your computer and do the open with, check the always box routine....

You can go to the incomplete folder. In the Download window, right-click the file, choose View File Info. Then click on the link in the information window Locate on Disk. Then do as I suggested. :)
