rickth (get the error 'sorry there was a problem downloading your file') hi i have been a limewire user for sometime and have limewire 5 which once you get used to using really is an improvement on earlier versions. but ive got a problem. for two days whenever i hit download for a music file i get a message saying download sorry there was a problem downloading your file. if i click ok the message goes but i cant get any reason for the problem. my library is still there my playlists are also there the options seem ok whats gone wrong. |
Which OS are you using? If Vista, do you have an administrator account? If Vista, right click on LW's desktop icon > run as administrator. Now see whether the same thing happens. Have you changed the location for saving downloads from the default? Try changing LW's saving location. Tools > options > downloads > browse for a different location to save downloads > click ok to save the change. Let us know whether you're still stuck:) |
