limewire not connecting
 

:confused: hi everyone. i have been using limewire for a few years recently i installed norton since then limewire wont even connect i tried uninstalling norton still no joy im using limewire 5.14 basic version any ideas

Are you sure Norton is totally uninstalled? Norton has its own uninstaller I believe.

Make sure only one firewall active & put LW on the exception list of firewall rules. May need to do this again if using a different version of LW. ;) With norton you always need to remove previous firewall rule & re-add the exception.
