Hi outdoorm & welcome to the forums. Matter of opinion about your question

Both are fine programs.

However for torrents, I'd recommend either uTorrent or Azureus. Neither of the programs you are using are accepted at private torrent sites, but if you never get an invitation to one then you don't need to worry about that I guess. lol

Vuse: Azureus, now called Vuze : Bittorrent Client

uTorrent: Torrent - a (very) tiny BitTorrent client
