Just wanted to say Hi to all the regulars on this board. I've been reading a bit, but never really posted anything. This will be my first.

The only thing I will say is that without the US the world would be a far different place, a backward place based on fear, social positioning at birth (like the monarchy) and superstition rather than enterprise, merit and innovation.

Like I said UK Bob, I love my country. I love my country's history, although it's been filled with evils inherent in any society. It takes a little bit of bad to create good. We've become a nation built on the principles of a sovereign society. However, we are not a perfect society. The current policies that were put in place by our former president have set us back almost fifty or so years. We are by far a backwards nation, but some of our freedoms have been stripped by current policy, and that worries me...
