limewire doesn´t launch
 

I´ve purchase Limewire 5 for my imac 20. I install but when i tried to lunch, it doesn´t work-
can anybody help me?:mad2:
He comprado limewire 5 para mi imac 20. Lo instalo pero no se abre.

imac 20? What's that? Which model imac do you have? Is it an intel imac or not? Do you have java 1.6 (6) on your system? If not you will need to use LW 4 instead. How to check? See Setting up Java for Leopard (see 2nd image) & if your java preferences does not list Java 6 (1.6) then you cannot use LW 5, but instead, LW 4. ;)

Thanks for your help, but i´ve done what you say to me. In my java preferences the
java settings are the same that you send my in your reply.
Even that my LW 5 doesn´t work.

Set up a Test account & see if LW works there Setting up a Test Account in OSX (click on link) ;) If it does then it suggests a problem in your main account. BTW I have not a clue which OSX version you are using, you never specified as required in the forum rules. :) You are sure you are using Java 1.6 then?
