Cant edit profile on bearshare
 

Hi I am using a computer, with Windows XP SP3, and Bearshare 8 software.
I want to edit my profile etc but get this error message if I try

not sure if you can see that, but it is an error message that says its a runtime error, on line 259, and it could not set the selected property........

this has only started happening recently. I have uninstalled and reinstalled bearshare, but it is still the same... any ideas

Bearshare versions 6-8+ are not really Bearshare per se. The original developer(s) sold out under legal pressure & the program itself is considerably different & does not have the freedoms the orignal Bearshare had.
