i am new and need help (limewire pro 5.4.6, paid for it and it will not run)

I downloaded limewire pro 5.4.6, paid for it and it will not run on my computer. I am going crazy. I spent the money and cannot run this program on my computer. I am sure it is a firewall issue but cannot figure out how to make it run.

What do you mean it won't run? The program will not open? Or LW opens but does not connect to the Gnutella network?

I can ascertain you are using LW 5.4.6. Are you using DOS, Linux, Xenox, Unix, Windows, Mac, etc. ? Quite different Operating Systems.
