hello, need help! (old version showing on startup)

i install the new version of limewire and it installs fine, until next time i startup it goes back to the old one

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included 2nd last post of page.)
