Just joined the forum so...treat me gently.

I have a question I need to ask, I reckon I know the answer but still would like to ask it.

I just downloaded a tune and got a "Congratulations Limewire / Frostwire has selected you to receive a free Iphone 4 or Ipad"...this is a spam, right?

If it is the tune I selected was "reflections of my life" by The Marmalade and there were 3 links at the bottom of the screen.

The address to register was www.limewirepromo.com.

Any suggestions, aprt from "Don't go there"...bet I get a reply saying that

Yes that's spam. iFreeclub is reknown spam site & spam. Usually smaller in file size than the files you would want. See How to find music & video on some tips on searching & downloading.

I've noticed, on a few searches, I've seen some files noted as SPAM, so I didn't download them.

Just for my own curiosity, now I've raised this issue will these be noted as SPAM or do they just sit online for the next person to come across?
