Hi, I'm trying to purchase Limewire Pro but don't have any of the available cards (they are rather USA-centric) do you have options for Mastercard or PayPal?

Unfortunately no. PayPal & MasterCard both decided they no longer wished LW to do their financial transactions through them. Mastercard recently, and PayPal a couple of years ago. :(

Guess Limewire Pro is just a dream now.......

Hi I'm new to this forum, and hav been tryin to to renew my limewire pro with little success, usin a payment card , which i used before, my bank says there;s nothing wrong with my card. and they believe its the bank services thats limewire use. unless they resolve this problem soon, then limewire are going to be losing alot of money from customers like myself that wish to renew or join there pro service. any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated. i would also suggest limewire should look into this issue with some urgency. !!!

I agree, there must be a tonne of people who can't purchase the pro version, surely the powers that be at LimeWire might see this as rather a significantly urgent issue

Perhaps they are rewriting their Terms Of Service in light of recent litigation.

Hmmm well i hope limewire. are or should be doing there nut, to get this card payment issue resolved. hope there adminstrators are on the ball to resolve this. :eek:

But then, their staff have been staying away from that forum for quite a while now. Obviously concerned about making public statements in light of their uncertain future.

The LW Pro version can be downloaded as a trial to last one month. Then it reverts back to LW Basic. That's better than nothing. :) I'm not sure if you can download multiple times unless perhaps you used different email address lol. Though they may have a record of your ip address, purely & only for that reason. However they did take a note of people attempting to hack accounts.

I tried the Limewire Pro Trial version but you require a valid credit card in order to even get that. I couldn't work around it
