Hello party people
 

this is my first post. I'm trying to figure out how to get the newest version of aquisition to connect to a server. This has had me running in circles. I recently purchased the new pro version after I had purchased the pro version about a year ago. The reason I upgraded was because my old version stopped connecting to the server. You must understand how frustrating it is for me to have purchased this new version in hopes of it fixing my problem only to find the same issue.

I'm not sure if much development is still happening with Acquisition because the developer used the LimeWire code, with his own interface. And as you may know, LimeWire company closed almost a year ago.
The connection issue is something that has hit all Acquisition users. I haven't tried the program for a long time. I cannot remember how Acquisition organised its preferences & whether it used the identical gnutella.net connection file. But if it does have the same, that is what will need to be replaced. If you can find such a one then check half way down this page for a fresh one here.
