Why does a song download and then sit for hours finishing? I can download multiple songs but they still hang when trying to finish. Thanks, CJ45

Which gnutella client program & version are you using may i ask? I"m not sure this makes a difference, but thought I'd ask anyway.

Sometimes an answer is to re-search the file again, the search results sometimes give the download a bump, & maybe even include an extra person who has same file so that speeds things up as well as keeps them continuous.

One thing to try might be to right-click the file & use the pause function for 10 seconds or so, then unpause.
I think I understand more of your problem now after re-reading. By finishing, do you mean they have already reached 100% but are rechecking the hash to be sure all is ok before reaching the completed status?
If that is the case, the files themselves might be fine, just LW is having problems with the recheck process. I've heard of this issue before.
