Let's Talk Bear Share
 

Hi there! I have just spent the past four days trying to rid my computer of "Bear Share." I was finally able to do it.

I found this site, and want to learn a little more about a program that so many people seem so happy with, apparently totally oblivious to the fact that this program can literally wreck havoc with your computer.

That's why I'm here.

There are three versions of BearShare.

The ones available here, which are unofficial and great as far as I understand it
The old BearShare, which I believe had some adware, but nothing serious
The new BearShare, probably the one you got, which has zero to do with anything here and is not recommended by anyone on this forum.
