I keep getting a 1628: failed to complete installation.
I have downloaded the java script separately also. If I delete both and start over by using limewire to install the java script the program just sits the saying it is installing the java script even after the java script installation is complete.

what java script are you talking about?

do you mean the Java Runtime Environment?

have you downloaded LimeWire from
http://www.limewire.com/index.jsp/download#free

did you successfully download the windows installer?
it seems that your installer is corrupt this occurs due to broken downloads.
try re downloading it.

if you still have trouble click on the WWW button below this post to download a custom-version (you need an JRE for it to run)
