Error 1608
 

I tryed to install the new Version 2.3 of LimeWire but i always get the Massage ERROR "1608 unable to create InstallDriver instance". Could somebody help me?

Get LimeWire as a zip

Simply unpack it in your favourite folder and double click on the limewire.bat file.

The link does not work!?
So i tryed to get a Zip Version on other Places but allways is the unzipped File the normal .exe from the main Page...

I have also had this problem?
 

I have tried everything in the FAQs without success. I use Windows 2000. Like the user above the link does not work.

I got hold of the file and ran runlime.bat.

Had an error message 'java' is not recognised as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Did you install Sun's Java Runtime Environment?

I have the same problem. I´ve installed java but it doessent work. I have windows 2000.
I have done everything witch is explaind at the lime wire help page.

Could anybody help me?
