I downloaded 2.4 (non pro) and when I click on application I get the following box;

InstallShield
command line parameters
/L Language Id
/S Hide Initalize dialog
for silent mode use :/s
/v/qn
/vparameters to MsiExec.exe.....

and so on and so on and I click ok and nothing happens. I click on app again and same box comes up I click ok and nothing happens...you get the idea...

I get the same message. I've uninstalled and then reinstalled (or so it appears) and still get the same thing.

redownload limewire the installer was probably corrupted during download.

What do you mean by this

You missed it shorebreak, we try and download and redownload again. My count of downloading the installer from your link is fifteen and each time it didn't work i uninstalled it. So What do you think of that.
