install doesn't recognise Java 1.4

I have Java 2 1.4 installed on my system but install insists I have 1.3. and will not recognise 1.4 help please

Did you move the shortcuts? Try to reinstall Java and then try again. (Happened to me too but after reinstalling Java LimeWire recognized it).
