OK, how do I uninstall Limewire and Java runtime? There appears to be no uninstall option and Limewire does not show up in Add/Remove programs in Control Panel. Not very gentlemanly behaviour.
Can you advise, please? Chris |

I have the same problem. Sure, I hear great things about LimeWire, but I dont like it and wish to uninstall it. Unfortunately, I believe I'm doing something wrong, because I cannot uninstall the program! Would anyone here be kind enough to help me?

I have been able to uninstall the last several versions of Limewire that I have using the Add/Remove Programs feature... just checked and it does show up in my Add/Remove programs. FYI I am running WIndows 2000 and currently I have the PRO version -but I had used several of the free releases in the past. I also have the JRE 1.4 in the Add/Remove programs list.

That is a good suggestion. Sadly, LimeWire does not appear in the add/remove program list.

Hi there,
I suggest that you reinstall the latest version of LimeWire and then try uninstalling it from add/remove. Avi |
