When i go to install Lime Wire everything works fine except that i dont have Java2TM Runtime Enviorment, Standard Edition, v. 1.3.1 so it installs it for me. When it goes to install it, it just sits there for a while and then cancels out. What should it do?

Try the following:
Uninstall LimeWire and anything called Java RunTime Environment from the add/remove programs control panel.

Then go to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/download.html and download and install the latest JRE in your preferred language. Now reinstall LimeWire. Let me know if this solves your problem.
