Unhappy saved/sharing

In limewire 2.6.3 pro, why won't it let me change the folder where I want downloads to go? epecially since the current folder doesn't show anything in the library window. I reset it to want I want during a reinstall, but when it runs it keeps going back to that other folder, and, if I try to change it to what I want I keep getting the error message "ivalid path...." I know there must be a solution, probably an easy one but it escapes me.

I assume you are trying to change from Tools - Options - Saving.

You might try to navigate to the path you want to save in through the browse button. That way you will only see valid directories. You might be making an error if you are typing in the path manually.

Good Luck

Default saved/sharing

That is what I have been doing. I go to browse to change this setting. And, when I click to save the change, that's when the rror message comes up.

That is strange.

It might be worth removing and recreating the directory you want to save in. A long shot but sometimes long shots work.

Success! your longshot came in. hope you had a bundle on "him"
delted, then recreated the file I wanted. went back to options, and selected that file name. no error message!
