I had this same problem. To solve it go on-line to limewire.com, minimize your broswer to the task bar. Now double click on the limewire installation icon. It should start the installation that way. You may find you will also need to download "Java TM 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Ed. v 1.3.1. It will do this for you.
