I also cannot open program
 

I am having the same problem as iwolfrltr and scarino are having in not being able to open limewire. It seems to have installed fine, but nothing happens when I click on the icon.

With the exception of Catarina, no one's provided help, yet I notice that both those posts have been viewed quite a few times which tell me lots of people are having the same problem. So, I'm posting the question again.

Catarina, I'd like to try your suggestion, but I don't know how. So, if you or anyone else can help me I'd really appreciate it.

This is what Catarina suggested we do:
Make yourself a shortcut that says
"pathtoyourjavawfile\javaw" -classpath RunLime.jar RunLime

next to "start in" make sure it has the path of the directory where LimeWire.jar is.
