any advantage to new Java 1.4.1_02? The current version of the Sun Java J2SE/JRE is 1.4.1_02 (circa 20 Feb '03), http://java.sun.com I've been running 1.4.1_b21 (which I think is an old beta/release-candidate) since Oct. 2002, so I'm obviously "due" for an upgrade. But is there any specific dis/advantage to this latest version? For instance, the reason I upgraded to the 1.4.1 beta was so that I could take advantage of -- as Sun described it -- "significant" improvements in the speed of the networking code... |
Beta's are more buggy than the stable release in general. |
