frozen loading

help I just installed lime wire I have windows professional 2000, cable internet, and I dont think I have a fire wall...?

I click on the lime wire icon and it begins to load but it just stops at "loading core components..." it's been sitting like that for at least an hour, I dont know what to do please help!
