Unable To Create LIMEWIRE.PROPS
 

Can anybody explain how to fix this? I've attempted to download and reinstall a number of times. My PC is lacking Java and it always states it's going to download it.


Any suggestions?

What windows version are you using?

Maybe your problem is related to not having administrator rights. Try deinstalling LimeWire and reinstalling it again. OR try searching for the ".limewire" folder and set the file permissions to writeable.

Microsoft was not allowed to bundle their own Java Runtime Environment with Windows XP. If Java doesn't install - I don't really know what is wrong.

Try the international version of LimeWire (from the same download page). It comes already equipped with the necessary libraries to run java and you don't have to install any separate Java Runtime Environment.
