in the second computer's browser, lookup your Pro page via http://www.limewire.com/english/cont...pro_lookup.jsp and download the appropriate installer.

Just install and run. If you want optimal connections, keep reading.

I think the second install will detect other LW's currently running on your home network, and configure a different listening port to avoid conflicts (look in the options under "sample bug report" or Advanced->Port to find what port is being used), and you should configure your firewall and router to allow incoming connections on the new port too. This can be a pain, but well worth the trouble of going through your router and firewall documentation. When done correctly, both installations should have full access to the gnet.

If one machine is having trouble with uploads, try unchecking the "Force IP" option in the prefs. I've never been confident with my choices on that setting--a networking expert is needed for this setting!

Cheers

I know that behind a router you have to check the force ip because otherwise LW will broadcast your lan address i.e 192.168.1.100 (reducing the number of uploads and the download speed). I think it is the same for NAT addresses.

ciao
