any new fixes for 1714 error?

My OS is Win98se w/all of the latest service packs. My previous versions of Limewire were 1.6, 2.3.3, 2.9.8. When attempting to install Limewire 3.8.10 I get the 1714 and 1603 errors. I did a start>find file search and deleted all of the Limewire files located on my hard drive. I then ran regedit find and deleted all Limewire keys. I also ran the MS install cleanup wizard. I still have the problem. Are there any new fixes for this bug?

1714 and 1603 errors

download the windows installer cleanup package from this site, highlight only limewire when you run it and then you should be able to install or unstall limewire with no problem
