Worms have infested my system from files downloaded from limewire

After being alerted by MICROSOFT I ran virus software on my system because of e-mail sent by me having bagle worms. and other worms to many to list. I took over 7350 virus's off my system, and all the files were from Limewire it had taken over my documents music and picture files. then it got into my system files and my restore files also it had invaded my master boot record. some of the files are windows code files Britney Spears porno Emnim doing britney spears porno screensavers longhorn files harry potter files windows files all at I belive all the files were 29 or 35 KB....... I am needlessly not pleased about this, I don't like sending my friends infected files, not to mention my family, and it's all been a gift from limewire, in fact everyone I turned on to you has run virus software and had the same files on there systems, so i'm in the dog house with about 50 people that I know of for infecting there computers. and I know it came from you because yours is the only web site i've down loaded anything from with my NEW 120 Gog hard drive and now I have to throw it away..........
What now do I go to the internet and post the fact that limewire is a source of virus files......
Help me

Thank You
John R. Como

Limewire is a tool to share files, it is not responsible for whatever got into your system.

Maybe you downloaded an infected file, they mostly come with a .exe extension. If you didn't run a virus scan on an .exe file, then I'm sorry to say the fault is your own.

And as a side note
Did you receive any unsolicited emails recently ?

Reinstall windows and clear out the other garbage and you will have a fresh start.

Nothing is lost.. it just needs a good disinfecting. ;)

There is a simple rule in file sharing, which applies to all p2p software.

Never ever use p2p software, without having a good antivirus installed, which you will keep up-to-date. When you download files that potentially may contain virii, also do a manual scan, just to be sure. These especially includes *.exe files.

It's really not hard. And there are free antivirus around.

Good luck getting rid of the virii. :)
