i keep getting this error msg.

leafrk00,

Try re-installing the program and then try to uninstall.

Hi thanks for the info but I have already tried doing that and I keep getting the same error msg.

don't know what else to do. :-(

leafrk00,

I can't think of anything else short of manually deleting the program and then cleaning the registry.

Sorry I can't offer any more help.

Try the following link, it's worked for many before apparently (I saw it in more than one thread):

As a last resort, you could perhaps try an uninstall app such as norton cleansweep.
Hope that sorts out your issue. (And I'm only a macman LOL.)
The answers were already in the forum, all anybody had to do was search for them.

No not really, if you're still getting the 995 error for installation as well, see: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=15102
Thats the only ref I could see to that error type. I think it's definitely back over to Norm's corner. Norm's experienced with pc's I'm not. And also, do a search on the forum for installation problems.

leafrk00,

Are you installing the English version or the international version?

If you are using the English version it miight be worthwhile getting the international.

Also see if there is still a Limewire directory on your system after you uninstalled Limewire. (Probably C:/ProgramFiles/Limewire). If there is one Delete it manually before you try to reinstall.

Good Luck,

Norm
