Pro version

I have no clue if I am using Pro or not. I paid for it and it shows on my credit card, but I may have lost it.

I wish I was talking and not typing!

What happened was that I downloaded Pro and then later that night I lost my internet explorer. I called Dell and they restored my computer to an earlier time which of course caused my to lose Pro, then he told me to download the free version (which works fine). When I then cancelled the restoration, I thought I went back to Pro because it looked a little different. I don't think I am using Pro, because it keeps asking me to upgrade to Pro. I checked the Help- About and it says 4.0.8 (no mention of Pro).

If I am not using Pro, why do I need Pro? It works fine for me.

Please let me know how to get it back if I am not currently using Pro or refund my money and I will continue as is, thanks.

btw--The "About" box in the LW menu will show the version you are using. And . . . I hope you don't see much difference between Pro and Free: think of Pro as more of a donation, since no one wants the free to be crippled in order to make the difference more obvious.

Thanks for the info. I reinstalled it, I think it's the same. I must have had it all along. It's just crazy that it keeps asking me to update to Pro.

P.S. I'd rather donate to some worthy cause than to limewire

Sounds like you still have the basic! Are you downloading from your personalized Pro page?

I did it from wherever the link you sent me took me. I don't know what I am doing and I don't even care anymore.

I did notice one thing that appeared different between the Pro and whatever I did with the Dell guy. Is there an extra tab abter Libraby on the basic? When I cancelled the restoring of my computer to an earlier time, that extra tab was gone.

My desktop Icon said Pro, but I reinstalled it anyway. If I don't have Pro, I don't know what else to do, since I already re-installed it.

Since I don't really see a difference between the two, I don't really care.

I think it's bull to offer a version at such a high price that isn't any faster. My sister paid $30 for hers. What a rip off!
