It'd help if you provided your OS vrrsion, connection type, & all those specifics that help a doctor to know to prescribe you an asprin instead of amputating your leg. Or was that brain surgery. lol :D Try deleting your LW preferences & see if that makes any difference. You will need to reset your options after deleting the prefs. They can be found somewhere about here:
OS X: /Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/LimeWire
Windows: C:/Documents And Settings/your_username/.limewire
Linux: ~/.limewire
And delete the folder called .limewire

Try the beta version, 4.1.9 or 4.1.10 I think it's up to. See here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=29811 Also it's a good idea to keep your Java up to date: http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_automatic.jsp for 1.4 or version 1.5 can be found here: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp Tell us how you go. Good luck. There is reason behind my madness for suggesting the beta. This series of betas have been very reliable & very, very good & have got a lot of people out of similar probs.

Fantastic! :) Was that Java 1.4 or 1.5 you updated to that solved your problem? ;) LW are going to change the installers in some way in future I believe, but I know little about it at this point.
