Angry Limewire Pro

When I hit the Limewire setup button it has a window that says preparing to install and then another window pops up and says:

1: This installation cannot run by directly launching the MSI package. You must run setup.exe.

And I have no clue what to do.

When you downloaded the file you said to save to hdd & not to open right? I saw that same message a few days ago & I don't even use windows lol (I was installing on a windows machine at the time.) 1stly I would recommend you update your installshield engines see: Update install engines & choose your version.
2ndly I would recommend you install either Java 1.4.2 or else Java 1.5 (take the JRE)
3rdly: I would suggest you choose the english installer & choose to open when you dwnld it. Then run thru the install when it completes dwnlding.

If you have problems with Java 1.5 revert back to 1.4.2

well I already downloded Limewire Pro and it was working fine until one day it wouldnt open and nothing would work so my son thought he could fix it by deleting everything then re-installing it. So he did that and now when we try to install it it says that message i sent earlier.
Do I have to buy it again because nothing is working?

To be on the safe side install Java 1.4 unless you've already installed 1.5 Just for a few people they've found 1.5 has caused some side-effects whereas most others have found it to be their glory so to speak. My suggestions to update your install engines is purely being on the safe side & any older install engine issues will most likely affect other apps in the same way. Many if not most install issues are in regards to the install engine problems. That's why updating them will reduce any problems.
