| Hi All... I had paid for lime wire pro, and had it running flawlessly on my Win XPpro Box...Then my HD crashed, and I had to replace it...I had all of my files (including the Limewire pro installation package backed up on my external HD, but when I tried to re-install limewire pro on my new HD, it told me that it couldnt start from limewire.MSI, that I had to run setup.exe first. What do I do to fix this? Or do I have to buy limewire again? thanks in advance bigbadcat |

| I'm not sure but just making a suggestion. You must have saved various files from your HDD before you dumped it right? I wonder if you still have traces of LW on your comp. If you use your add/remove pegrams control panel to see if you can remove it. 2. Then make sure your installshield engines are up to date: update your installshield install engine. 3. Update your Java: Java 1.5 (take the JRE) 4. Re-install LW If your LW Pro is still valid within 6 mths of purchase then you can still re-install it. |
