cant download to comp
 

hi i am also new to this and nothing I have read really seems to fit so here is the problem.
I have windows xp- I downloaded the limewire 4.8.0 from the site to comp now when I tried to install it cancelled because of my firewall and all not being off.So i tried to delete-unistall and it says - lime wire cannot create unistall info,install will now exit.It is not in my add/remove programs and I tried rebooting and no luck.I have been through the folders of where limewire is and still it wont do anything and I can't get it off comp screen)desktop) Can someone please help me??

ok i have done what you have said and neither works not even the new version,,so what now lol

ohh i have windows xp firewall and nortan anti virus as well

yea that is right i had my firewall off and norton off and it still dd the same problem it would download from the site but when i tried to download it to comp it didnt work and same problems
