Im stuck on 4.4.1! Wont update to 4.8!
 

I cant get Limewire to update to latest version!
Im currently running v.4.4.1 and when asked to update to new version, all that happens is that it installs 4.4.1 again?????
When im sent to Download.com and click on the icon to install 4.8......it installs 4.4.1. and has been doing so for about 3 weeks! I couldnt get 4.6 either.
This is causing me a great deal of irritation and although I can still use 4.4.1, I would still like to indulge in the latest version.

Can u suggest somewhere else to try?

Salut, try that: uninstall LimeWire, go in IE options and clear the cache (you should be using Firefox as web browser ;) ). Then go to http://www9.limewire.com:82/download/ and install the windows version...
