Unhappy Can't open Limewire - think it's something to do with Java

Hi, I'm not completely sure what's going on here, but since I upgraded to V4.6, I haven't been able to access LimeWire atall. When it loads up to ask me about language options and where the shared folder should go etc. I just get an empty grey message box entitled 'Error' and I can't do anything. I think it might be a problem with Java, as when I try to open the 'Java WebStart' program the same thing happens (just grey). I've tried the following to sort this out:

-Going back to the previous version on LimeWire (same thing happenned).
-System Restore to when it was working
-Reinstalled Java twice (still the same problem)
-Reinstalled LimeWire
-Got the latest version of Java (same problem)

I can't think of what else to do
