The installer seems to work just fine. I', did however try the alternate installer in the hope that I would avoid the problem I'm having. When I try to run LimeWire after I click 'Finish' the screen comes up and starts the loading process when it reaches the "loading user interface it freezes every time I went to LimeWire's FAQ and couldn't find anything helpful that worked. I have the proper version of Java Runtime installed. Frustration reigns! If it helps -- I'm running Windows 98SE on a very reliable dial-up connection. I hope someone can help! Thanks!

ive tried reinstalling java updating java
reinstalling limewire.. nothing works..

looks to me like theres lots of other people on both mac and windows with the same problem and no one seems to have a fix..

Don't buy it if it doesn't work (unless you want a chance at the email support that you can get with Pro).

If LW won't install or connect, you're one of the unlucky ones (the other 1.4 million are doing OK).
