Default Limewire Deletes itself

Hi hope spmeone can help
I have downloaded the latest version of Limewire and installed it with no problem.
Everything works fine but when I start the computer next day Limewire has uninstalled its self.
The limewire folder has also been deleted from the program file folder.
I use my D drive to keep the downloaded and upload files but that folder is ok and when I reinstall Limewire it carrys on from where it left off. But next time I start the computer its disappeared again.
Thanks for any advice.

1st LW 4.8.1 is not a beta version. Sounds like an issue with your computer that files should disappear. I'd do a complete system check with 'all' my utilities. Somethings not right. It may in fact be there but you can't see it. Give your Registry a clean: Here (click on link) If you don't have a registry cleaner.
Also defrag your HDD's. (One would hate to think it's due to a corrupt system.)

Thanks for your help.
All my security programs are all up to date
and run all the time, I checked for viruses etc but nothing found.
Everything else works ok and just wondered if Java would cause problems?
Thanks again

Yes Java could be the issue. Whichever version of Java you have, I'd try another. If you have Java 1.5 then drop back to 1.4.2, or vice versa. But don't install over the net, instead downld the installer & save it to your computer & then install Java. You can get a link for Java from this link: Fixes for Limewire
